The Utilities Plants, established in 1987, form the backbone of our operations by providing essential services and resources to all production units.
Initial Setup (1987)
Water Treatment
- Two water intake pumps (1250 m³/hr each)
- One clarifier (2000 m³)
- Two sand filters (325 m³/hr each)
Cooling System
- Cooling tower 15000 m³/hr (5 cells)
Water Processing
- Two RO units (190 m³/hr each)
- Two Demineralized lines (150 m³/hr each)
- Two Demineralized lines (22 m³/hr each)
Industrial Systems
- Two water tube boilers (45 ton/hr each)
- Three air compressors (3000 Nm³/hr each)
- Three air compressors (1800 Nm³/hr each)
- Nitrogen plant (240 Nm³/hr Gas & 60 m³/hr liquid)

New Project
Six sand filters (200 m³/hr each) producing 1000 m³/hr filtered water for Egyptian Ethylene and Polyethylene Company (ETHYDCO)
Major Upgrades Timeline
1998: Installation of Demineralized water line (150 m³/hr)
1999: Installation of five sand filters (300 m³/hr each)
2003: Installation of three carbon filters, two micron filters, and two cooling tower cells
2004: Installation of air compressor (7000 Nm³/hr), clarifier (3000 m³), and control system upgrade
2015: Installation of water intake pump and new filtered water project for ETHYDCO
