The Sulphuric Acid Concentration Unit was established to address challenges related to H2SO4 dilution and storage issues. Previously, the discharge of diluted H2SO4 into the chlorine plant sewer led to deviations in industrial water effluent specifications, particularly affecting pH, TDS, and TSS levels. Additionally, worker exposure to H2SO4 fumes, SO and SO3 gases posed significant health risks.
Production Capacity: 2.97 Liquid T/D
Product Concentration: 96% Sulphuric Acid
The process utilizes a specially designed Corning horizontal concentrator that operates under vacuum conditions for water evaporation. The system is designed to comply with Law No. 4/1994 regarding gas emissions and liquid effluents.
