Utility started at 1987 as:

  • Two water intake pumps (1250 m3/hr for each one).

  • One clarifier with capacity (2000 m3).

  • Two sand filters (325 m3/hr for each one).

  • Cooling tower 15000 m3/hr (5 cells).

  • Two Reverse Osmosis units (190 m3/hr for each one).

  • Two Demineralized water lines (150 m3/hr for each one).

  • Two Demineralized water lines (22 m3/hr for each one).

  • Two water tube boilers (45 ton/hr for each one).

  • Three air compressors (3000 Nm3/hr for each one).

  • Three air compressors (1800 Nm3/hr for each one).

  • Nitrogen plant (240 Nm3/hr Gas & 60 m3/hr liquid).

  • Six sand filters 200 m3/hr for each one producing 1000 m3/hr filtered water for Egyptian Ethylene and Polyethylene Company (ETHYDCO).

  • Install five sand filters (300 m3/hr for each one) at 1999.

  • Install three carbon filters (150 m3/hr for each one) at 2003.

  • Install two micron filters (10 micron) at 2003.

  • Install two cells for cooling tower at 2003.

  • Install one air compressors (7000 Nm3/hr ) at 2004.

  • Install One clarifier with capacity (3000 m3) at 2004.

  • Upgrading control system for (boilers & DEMI & RO) at 2004.

  • Install one water intake pumps (1250 m3/hr) at 2015.

  • Install new project for producing 1000 m3/hr filtered water (six sand filters 200 m3/hr for each one) at 2015.
